Tonight we present  social justice advocate and author Janet Dewart Bell and NAACP civil rights attorney Lewis Steel in a talk about race in American society.

Janet Dewart Bell is the widow of NAACP attorney Derick Bell. 

Janet Bell and Lewis Steel were introduced by Canio’s Kathryn Szoka.

Scott Chaskey - Poet, educator and farmer

 

Poet, educator and farmer Scott Chaskey read from his work this month presented by the Southampton History Museum.

Chaskey is a pioneer in the Community Supported Agriculture movement.

He is past president of the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New York and the author of books on agriculture as well as poetry.
